We’re Molly and Josh, based in Brighton, and we share a passion for supporting people in our community who need a little more understanding, care and support — while promoting positive
mental wellbeing.
Through our previous work across public services, schools and residential homes for children, we saw first-hand how difficult moving home could be for people who needed additional support.
Too often, traditional moving services simply weren’t equipped to meet the individual needs of the person they were helping.
That’s where Settled In Service was born.
We created a service designed around the person, rather than simply the move. Whether someone is leaving care, living with a disability, facing a difficult period in their life, or simply needs more support than a traditional removal service can offer, we’re here to make the whole process feel more manageable.
Since starting Settled In Service, we’ve had the privilege of supporting care leavers, people with disabilities, people experiencing mental health challenges, and many others who have needed a little extra help along the way.
For us, this is about much more than moving furniture from one home to another. It’s about meeting people where they are, understanding what they need, and helping them feel comfortable and settled in their new home.
We’ve met some truly fantastic people through the work we do, and we’re proud to continue giving back to the community that inspired us to start in the first place. We support local charities and children’s care homes through donations of profits, moving supplies and practical support wherever we can..

We work closely with Kennedy Street Recovery in Brighton, who signpost people, who suffer from addiction issues, into recovery. Some of our staff who are in recovery themselves, and benefited from the amazing work Kennedy Street do.
